Abaca, for example, native to Philippines, is Mother Nature’s strongest plant fiber, and was first used to make marine ropes. Now, the fiber is used in making pulp for currency paper and bible paper, securities, stocks, bonds, tea bags, automotive interiors, hats, baskets, furniture and much more.
While our abaca fiber products are primarily made into rugs and carpets, designers and architects are increasingly using our unique textures for furniture and headboard upholstery, table top insets and seating material, to name a few. We are also seeing a lot of our products being applied on ceilings and walls, bringing a distinct texture to commercial and residential interiors.
